came across maria gorodeckaya via HUSK MAGAZINE's blog and i'v fallen in love with a lot of her images. joseph beuys and marina abramovic are sources of inspiration for her seductively eerie work; sadly little online about her though, as she's still studying, but definitely one to watch out for.

coming soon… i'v been developing my pocket archive from last year where i have been collecting 'corners'. i've managed to find quite a few (as you can imagine), but i'm hoping to get it all up and running online in the not too distant future. watch this space…

you've gotta love the dutch. 'anastasia' by photography duo inez van lamsweerde & vinoodh matadin who remodelled fashion photography by photographing background and models separately for shoot featured in magazine - 'the face' 1994.

i generally aim to avoid using photoshop; the beauty in a photograph's honesty is lost, however the work of al magnus (below) clearly wouldn't be possible without it. he admits to being 'more a picture collector than photographer' as these images were carefully planned, then pieced together, with some of the negatives taking over 2 years to capture the perfect scenery necessary for the composition. noice tho!

anne christensen's styled this shoot for vogue china to perfection! love the mishmash of textures and the hereeeeeeeem pants model valerija kelava's wearing!
